Handcrafted from soft, organic wool, this playful garland is designed to be both beautiful and sustainable — forever reusable and fully compostable at the end of its life. Customize the length and spacing to suit your space, and add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to turn it into a natural, eco-friendly freshener.
Our garlands come in three sizes, each with extra cord so you can space the 1" wool beads anywhere from touching to 4" apart. The small size is perfect for doors and windows, stretching up to 8 ft when spaced out, while the long and extra-long sizes extend up to 17 ft and 25 ft, ideal for walls, porches, or large windows. These colorful garlands pair beautifully with our handmade eco ornaments for a complete festive look.
Lovingly handmade by Nepalese women artisans under fair-trade conditions, each bead is crafted from cruelty-free New Zealand wool, shaped with warm water and vegetable soap, and dyed with eco-friendly, azo-free colors. The garlands are plastic-free and fully compostable, combining festive fun with conscious living.
The garlands are available in three sizes:
- Small (S): 24 beads on an 8 ft (2.5 m) cotton string; 2 ft long with beads touching.
- Long (L): 48 beads on a 17 ft (5 m) cotton string; 4 ft long with beads touching.
- Extra Long (XL): 84 beads on a 25 ft (7.5 m) cotton string; 6 ft long with beads touching.
End of Life: Compostable.
Note: Beads are threaded on one side of the string and can be spaced as you like. To prevent tangling, bring beads together on one end and wrap the extra string around the bobbin before storing. Each garland is individually handmade, so slight variations in bead size and final length are part of its unique charm.
